Strasbourg

EKS: A knife show is held at the Hilton hotel in Strasbourg, the political capital of Europe, each year at the beginning of February. This show, in my eyes, is the most prestigious. It is not as large as others in Europe, but it features outstanding knifemakers as exhibitors.

The idea is great: some knife enthusiasts help each other to run a great show in a hotel. You can sleep, eat, drink, sell, and have fun all in one place.

Goibniu could work like knife magazines do, but then there would be no curiosity created for my readers. The idea behind this article is that you, as a reader, come to the next edition and go to the show's website to find out who participated.

If you really want to know who made which knife, please feel free to leave a comment. I will gladly respond and send the maker's name. Some pictures speak for themselves.

What I can say is that, even after participating in almost all editions of the show, I was still pleasantly surprised. I met some new exhibitors and saw some longtime friends I hadn't seen in a while.
