Since June 2024, Mr. Sausseret Guillaume has been welcoming his clients to his shop, which has, with time, become a shop and bar. In the summer months, on Sunday evenings, you can order some special cocktails. To justify this, they also serve some small things to eat (cocktails and food list, see pictures "SUN" 1 & 2). But is it a wine shop or bar? Yes and no! It's more than that. You can find gifts, liqueurs, spirits, beers, syrups, tasty hearty and sweet food, even special sparkling waters. But yes, the basic idea is that you can find some very good wines: red, white, rosé, and with or without bubbles.

Besides his shop, Guillaume also has a truck with which he sells wine and finger food at markets and evening events. So you could say that he is a passionate, busy man. In 2005 he started his studies, and in 2011 he became a Sommelier. He worked at a renowned wine property in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy: "Domaine Pierre Duroché".

But it goes even further back in time. He has family that makes Champagne in Les Riceys (a village in the south of the Champagne region). The Champagne has the name Lamoureux. And yes, many houses in that village make Champagne that has been called Lamoureux, so it's up to you to find out who is who.

Back to the shop: the least expensive wine he has is a bottle of Rosé for 5€, and the most expensive wine is a magnum bottle from Burgundy (Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru) for 215€.

If you ask Guillaume which color he prefers, he will say white. His favorite grape? Muscat! The best wine he ever tasted? A bottle of Hôte Côte de Nuit, 2005, 100% Chardonnay, Château De Villars Fontaine, la cuvee les Jiromées.
