Yes! Happy fiftieth anniversary, Spyderco.

So it was obvious we'd write an article about one of their knives. In this case, it's the Lil' Native with cobalt blue handle scales made of G10. It is one of their smaller models but with a lot of potential. The blade is made of CPM SPY27* steel, made by Crucible specially for Spyderco.

I've carried this knife since mid-November, and it pleases me a lot. It's a fidget toy for me with a really sharp edge. I've used it to open ammo packaging and for other cutting/opening tasks, and this little booger does the job.

The locking mechanism on the back of the knife has its haters and lovers; personally, I'm a huge fan of this system.

I think this little fella is going to stay for a while in my pocket (when it's allowed to carry).
