Guinness West Indies Porter
A very tasty dark beer with a slightly different structure and taste than its well-known sibling.
Smell: Dark chocolate with a high cacao content, banana chocolate ( from Côte d'Or), mocha, and clove.
Taste: Freshly roasted coffee with a cloud of thick cream and toffee, and a lightly bitter aftertaste.
Color: Dark brown with a cream-colored collar.
A Belgian beer lover would say it is a beer to bite into, meaning it can stand alone as a dinner.
I approve this beer to have with a good meat stew or even as a companion to a cheese platter.
