OKC 1889 (Ontario Knife Company)

RAT II? For those who don't know, it is the name of a pocket knife made by OKC 1889 (Ontario Knife Company). This particular knife, in the pictures, is used by a warrant officer in the Luxembourg army. The philosophy behind the choice of a smaller pocket knife is that a larger EDC knife is unnecessary. Small, easy to use, and lightweight (68.03 grams), this knife can be used by left- and right-handed people. The clip is changeable, allowing tip-up, tip-down, left, or right carry. With its coyote-colored nylon 6 handles and liner lock, it is easy to handle. Easy maintenance, and yes, for a small knife like this, the D2 steel blade performs its job well (cutting).

So the conclusion is that the military likes it easy and simple.

GOIBNIU rates the knife, considering the warrant officer's opinion: ###
