Salon du Survivalisme

Hello everyone, last weekend we were in Switzerland at the "Salon du Survivalisme."

It's a small event with a family feel, with many friends and old buddies.

Was it fun? Yes, of course. Did we expect more visitors? Yes, indeed. Was there enough publicity? Yes! So why? Why didn't the visiting crowd come as the organization would have liked? I believe that it was a cocktail of different factors: the economic crisis in the world, the sunny (warm) weather that weekend, and other nearby events.

The diehards and the believers, they came and bought new gear, books, and blades.

I hear you thinking, why? Why do you need "SURVIVAL" gear? Two answers! One simple: because! And the second one is a longer explanation that asks more than some words quickly written in this story. So in a few weeks, you will find a written second answer as a story on our blog.

Conclusion of the event: was it fun? Yes! Would I go again? Oh yeah. Could the organization do things differently? Maybe, but they did more than well, and you have no influence on the weather and human choices.
