Folding knife

The Porcini? No, not the penny bun mushroom, but a folding knife used to harvest mushrooms. One of the With Armour company's in-house designers (Roar Dragon) designed this cool, tactical-looking mushroom harvesting knife. The knife comes in a nice presentation box with a leather sheath and a locking pin to prevent the knife from closing.

The knife itself has a V10 steel blade with a half scandi grind and serrations. The handle scales are made from tan-colored micarta. On the scales, you'll find a ruler in centimeters, 5 cm in total. This is handy if you want to know the size of your mushroom's stem. The knife also has a built-in folding brush made from wild boar hair.

All year long, you will find more than a dozen edible mushrooms in Europe, ranging from the Craterellus cornucopioides to the Tuber Magnatum.

Meaning: the horn of plenty and white truffle.

Beware that when you harvest mushrooms in the wild, you respect the rules and laws of your country and that you know the difference between edible and poisonous varieties. If you like being outdoors and you want a sturdy mushroom knife that you can also use for cutting rope and more, then go to the link below to find more information about this product.

The Goibniu rates this knife on design and aesthetics with: ###.

We cannot rate it on use because our mushroom knowledge is too restricted.

Never forget: knives are tools.
