Yes! Tiny EDC! Any good? Let's find out.

EDC is everywhere. On YouTube, Instagram, Google, and Facebook, if you type "EDC," you will find many things about it. EDC? EDC stands for everyday carry.

And yes, that also exists in mini versions of their larger tools and gear: small pocket flashlights and knives that really work. The small knives have sharp blades, and many of them are even little toolboxes, like the Victorinox Mini Champ and the Vulpis multitool from FOX knives. And those small knives (politically speaking) look less aggressive, even though I always say, knives are tools with an edge and not weapons. But as always, please respect the laws and rules of your country.

The tiny flashlights are, in my eyes, also very functional. I have many of those in different pouches, on my keys, in the car, next to my bed, and wherever I think, "Hey, that is a good spot." Why? Because where I live in the country, after 11:00 PM, all the streetlights are out, and believe me, it is pitch dark where I live. Why next to the bed? To respect my partner when I wake up to pee or to go to work. I always place the lamp on candle mode so she doesn't awaken. Next to being practical, those small EDC-gear items are also cute (mignon in French) and collectible. Olight plays into that market by regularly releasing small, limited-edition flashlights.

So if you say, "Hey, a small EDC can work for me," I would say, "Enjoy your search on the WWW."
