Yes! Indeed, this story is different. I have a lot of gear and knives, so sometimes I ask other people to write a field review. And of course, they don't rate it like the Goibniu. But the knife in this review has a rating equivalent to ####.

Review – With Armour folding knife

After a few weeks of use and testing, I am pleasantly surprised by this compact folding knife from With Armour.

The knife combines several useful functions in a robust yet compact design, making it suitable for everyday use (EDC), outdoor activities and as an emergency tool in a vehicle.

First impression:

When opening the package, you immediately notice the sturdy construction.                                       

The knife feels solid and has no disturbing play. Thanks to its compact size, it is easy to carry without taking up much space in the pocket.

The finish looks neat, and the combination of the dark coating with the sand-colored handle gives the knife a modern and tactical look.

Also comes with a leather cover. I didn't use this one because I prefer a quick access knife.

Functionality:

Blade:

The wide blade opens quickly and is suitable for a variety of daily cutting tasks.

During use, the knife turned out to be sufficiently sharp from the box and maintains good control thanks to its wide shape.

A nice extra is the integrated measuring scale on the blade, both in centimeters and inches. This may seem like a detail, but surprisingly often comes in handy for quick measurements on the go.

Belt cutter:

At the rear there is an integrated belt cutter. This is useful for emergency situations, for example to quickly cut a seat belt after an accident. The system is always immediately available without having to open the main blade.

Glassbreaker:                                            

The knife also has a sturdy point for smashing car windows. This makes it a useful tool for people who are often on the road or want to have an emergency knife in their vehicle.                                                                                                                 Wearing comfort:                                      

One of the strengths of this knife is its portability. Thanks to the sturdy trouser clip, it stays firmly in place on jeans or work trousers. The knife is compact enough to disappear comfortably into the pocket without feeling annoying.

Pros:

Cons:

✘ The belt cutter can sometimes touch or damage the fabric of a trouser pocket if it is stored carelessly.

If the knife is placed incorrectly in the pocket, there is a chance that the cutter will unintentionally cut into the pocket. So this requires some attention when storing.

Final assessment:

This With Armour folding knife offers a lot of functionality in a compact package. The combination of a usable blade, glass breaker, belt cutter and integrated measuring scale makes it more than a standard pocketknife. It is an interesting choice, especially for daily use and as an emergency aid in the car.

The only real disadvantage is the position of the belt cutter, which can cause damage to a pocket if stored incorrectly. If you take this into account, you get a versatile and practical knife that is easy to carry on a daily basis.
