Pocket sharpener

We present you with one of the most stylish knife sharpeners we have ever tested. And yes, before I started my blog, I wrote many articles for other magazines and more. So I had already tested many different brands of knife sharpeners. Here we have the "XADR Slim," a pocket sharpener in stylus style. It is a rod that is screwed into its handle. When you unscrew it, you can screw it on the other side so that you have a full-length sharpening rod.

The model that we have here is made of a rod of aluminum oxide, and the handle is made of carbon fiber. On their website, you can choose from different handle materials like wood and others. Like every sharpening system, it is about finding out how it works best. Once you have the feel for it, oh boy, it works. Fluently strike up and down, and after some strikes, your knife is sharp as a razor again.

All in all, is this sharpener a compact tool you can take with you wherever you travel or go with a knife (respecting the rules)? With only a 140mm closed length and a weight of 65 grams, you won't even know it's there.
